Water Pumping With Renewable Energy

Windmills are the most recognized icons of the renewable energy movement. They have been used all over the world for centuries to pump water. This is a simple device that converts available wind power into mechanical energy. The energy is used to draw water up from a well to irrigate crops and to provide water to live-stock and people. A variation of this technology is the electric water pump.
