Are you looking to reduce your power bill but you’re on a budget? If so this wind energy package might be right for you. This package contains the major hardware components needed to complete a 120 VAC grid-tie wind energy system to supplement your utility (batteries are not included, save money and source locally). Best of all it provides backup power when the utility grid goes down. The amount of backup power will depend on your battery backup capacity and your planned usage during power outages. This system is also designed for growth including an oversize inverter which easily allows for additional wind or solar energy components to be connected without having to upgrade the inverter. You can start out small and easily work your way up, if needed, to the system you want and you won’t have to spend a ton of money in one shot.

You must connect batteries. The minimum battery configuration is 100 amp hours. If you want a larger battery capacity simply add batteries or larger capacity batteries. Remember to never have more than two strings of batteries. Contact us with your requirements and we will be glad to help you design your battery backup capacity. For most application Trojan flood batteries work best however they must not be located in the living area. If you need batteries stored in your living space you must use sealed gel batteries.
